Angela Edge
Angela heads up Sherrards' Housing and Property Litigation Department acting for Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Angela has particular expertise in anti-social tenant litigation and is lauded by the respected ‘Chambers UK 2009’ guide to the legal profession as “an extremely effective advocate”. Commentary in the guide adds that clients use her for their ‘most difficult cases, and in particular anything to do with anti-social behaviour’. This reflects her skills in possession proceedings, injunctions and Anti Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs).
Angela also advises Local Authorities on appeals and reviews in connection with homelessness legislation. She is a committee member of the Social Housing Law Association and a member of Women in Social Housing.
In her spare time Angela is an enthusiastic sportswoman and fan and is Ladies Club Captain of her local hockey club.
